Confession: I can’t put into words how little respect I have for those people who bash and belittle confessors who dislike or hate Isabela. I have romanced till the end Isabela, I read all the comics and books available about DA, so I know everything there is to know, to date, about Isabela. Most of my wardens are very dark skinned, and two of my most favorite video game characters are Fran (FF12), and Xemnas (KH2). I love urban-fantasy books, and most of the time the main protagonists are female (with Kate Daniels, Harper Connelly, and MacKayla Lane being my favorites). So YES, I have gotten to know Isabela fully, YES, I equally love all skin colors, YES, I love women and especially strong willed women, and yet, I still hate Isabela. Everyone has the right to like, or dislike whoever they want. This does not make the confessor “stupid”, “a failure in their own life”, “a racist”, “a woman hater” or whatever some of you like calling people who hate Isabela. It just makes the confessor human and free to accept or reject whoever they want! That some of you are not able to respect this simple human right, speaks a lot about you.
It’s not about that you don’t like Isabela. You are perfectly allowed to not like Isabela. What it is people have problem with is the reasoning behind why a person doesn’t like Isabela. Because from what I’ve seen, a lot of other people’s reasonings often are racist, sexist, ignorant about her character or all of the above. If yours aren’t, that’s great, but since you didn’t give any of those reasons, we have no way of knowing
Technically the distribution of straight/queer characters in inquisition isn't that bad, yes there's more straight people, but if you look at the world there generally seems to be more straight people so.. it kinda reflects reality?
Yeah, I guess, but considering 99% of every other character in non-bioware games are straight, I think this one game can afford to at least have more bi or pan LIs than straight ones. Because like I wrote in the tags, even if it’s 50% straight and 50% queer, it’s also 75% possibility of an m/f relationship and only 25% m/m or f/f, which considering we get little to no representation in other games I still think we’re allowed to be disappointed by
We may have four queer characters and four straight characters
but bisexuality, pansexuality, and homosexuality are three very distinct identities with rather large differences, especially once you break homosexuality up into lesbianism and male homosexuality.
So in essence we have four straight characters and one character each for four very different things.
That, personally, is why I’m upset at the overabundance of straight people in the Inquisition.
Confession: I supported the mages throughout all of Dragon Age 2. They were the injured party, and I felt that they deserved more freedom. But as soon as Anders blew the Chantry, I knew that it was all over, and I went to the Templars aid. I don’t even feel guilty
Also known as one person of a group did something (as a last resort I might add) that I’m not okay with and therefor every person of said group in this entire city state deserves to die

Though of noble birth, Cassandra Pentaghast turned her back on a life of wealth and privilege to join the Seekers of Truth. The ancient order serves as a watchful eye over corruption and magical threats, granted ultimate authority in its investigations by the Chantry—or it did, prior to abandoning their duty in response to the mage rebellion. Cassandra did not join her brothers in this, instead remaining loyal to Divine Justinia and her efforts to restore order in the face of chaos. She is both pious and driven, the sword in the right hand of the Divine, seeking justice above all else.
